Health: 140/195*
Karma: 70/135

Popularity: 5/30/40 (In Bon Temps/As the Avatar of Lilith/Spokesperson for

Talents:
Military*
Leadership*
Mystic Origin*
Knowledge: Vampires
Knowledge: Vampire Authority Organization.
Knowledge: Bom Temps area
Knowledge: History
Multi-Lingual*
Politics

Powers:
Vampire: Bill Compton is a relatively young vampire who possesses all of the abilities of a True Blood vampire of his age. Prior to his return as the avatar of Lilith, Bill did not have elder powers, but all of that changed once he drank the blood of Lilith. For Bill’s vampiric ability, please see the write-up on True Blood Vampires. Bill’s abilities as ‘Billith’ included:

  • Enhanced FASERIP: While Bill was enhanced by the blood of Lilith, his FASERIP, Health, and Karma increased to the secondary listings. It was stated openly by several of the other characters that Bill had become ‘The strongest creature on Earth’ and was capable of incredibly feats of strength and endurance. Bill could literally tear steel out of place, rending three-foot doors apart with little effort.
  • Increased Psionic Abilities: Bill’s hypnotic abilities and the ability to read the minds of those who had tasted his blood increased tenfold, going from their normal attributes to Am (50). Bill also gained telekinesis of Rm (30), able to move things easily with his mind, manipulate simple devices and machines, and use his will to move people and things in conjunction with his strength. Bill also gained a form of precognition allowing him to see and experience possible future events and specifically events involving vampires he was connected to. Bill would need to make a Psyche FEAT to resist the empathic pain from those terrible events or else he would feel the phantom damage as if he were taking it.
  • Flight: Bill could fly like an elder vampire with Am (50) airspeed, increasing his levitation skills by +3cs (normally Excellent).
  • Enhanced Vampiric Abilities: Bill’s vampiric abilities were incredibly enhanced after taking Lilith’s blood. Bill is considered to have the ‘Ancient’ level of power, making him at one time a rival to the original vampire’s abilities. Bill is also the only vampire to return from staking, regenerating instantly after being staked (which he did himself). Bill no longer suffered the limitations of being a vampire – Sunlight was a discomfort which could be eliminated with faerie blood, Bill no longer required permission to enter locations, and Bill was considered to be immune to most if not all the vulnerabilities that the TB vampire community had while the blood of Lilith was inside of him. In addition, Bill’s command of his progeny Jessica Hambey became a compulsion which Bill could use to cause rank damage to Jessica or any of Lilith’s line if he so chose.
  • Immunity: Sunlight: After drinking the blood of the vampire Warlow, Bill was immune from sunlight and could pass this immunity to any vampire that drank his blood. So long as Warlow remained ‘alive’, Bill and whomever drank his blood could remain in the sun indefinitely.
  • Enhanced Speed: Bill’s already impressive hyper speed as a vampire was increased to Mn (75) levels, allow him to potentially break the sound barrier and move with such alacrity to seem to be a blur. Other vampires had a hard time keeping up with him.

Vocal Mimic: Bill is able to perfectly mimic any human voice with Ex (20) ability, a power he had that was unique to him apparently and existed prior to his drinking of Lilith’s blood.
Contacts:
Bill’s contacts vary depending on his position and current situation. Bill could reliably call on Jessica Hamby, and was considered to be well entrenched with the Vampire Authority (at one point serving as the King of Louisiana. Bill could also call on Sookie Stackhouse with some regularity (until he took the blood of Lilith) and Eric Northman at different times. During his time as ‘Billith’, Bill’s powers made him capable of commanding any vampire or drawing any resources. Bill’s later time as author and ‘face’ of vampires tempered his disposition and made his contacts more reliable.

Limitations:
Before the blood of Lilith, Bill Compton had all of the limitations of a vampire, and additional ones as well:
  • Dark Secret: Bill secretly worked to engineer his meeting and bonding with Sookie Stackhouse.
  • Dark Secret: Bill had a dark past that he tried to hide, specifically his time with his maker Lorena, and the role he played during his period with her.
  • Public Identity: Bill is the public face at times of the Vampire Authority, and one of the most visible vampires in the world prior to his time as ‘Billith’ and even more so afterwards when he writes the book on the nefarious dealings of Governor Truman Burrell.
  • Protective: Bill is extremely protective of Sookie Stackhouse and Jessica Hamby, and will go to great lengths to protect either of them (Such as the time Bill walked into sunlight to try to save Sookie in season 1).
  • Villain: Bill’s activities during his first few encounters after becoming ‘Billith’ are villainous – seeking to capture faerie blooded individuals, forcing those to serve him for ‘the greater good’, and generally sharpening Bill’s worst behaviors. Bill is able to regain himself after losing the Blood of Lilith, but it takes some time to convince people he’s back to normal.
  • Infected: After Bill loses the blood of Lilith, he becomes infected with the vampiric Hepatitis which advances quickly. Bill is considered diseased and dying until his final destruction at the hands of Sookie Stackhouse.

R: Gd (10)
I: Rm (30)
P: Rm (30)

Health: 90
Karma: 70
Resources: Ex (20)
Popularity: 50

Talents:
Harry Houdini possessed many skills both for his craft and in a variety of related fields:
Martial Arts A, E
Performer
Multi-Lingual
Knowledge: Figures of the era
World Traveler – Houdini has been in more quarters of the world and gains a +1cs to reason on knowing a place, culture, or person of importance.
Escape Artist*
Spiritualism*
Acrobatics
Tumbling
Lock picking
Sleight of Hand
Multi-Lingual
Artist* - Writer
Artist – Movie Star (Silent Movies)
Pilot

Powers:
Although Harry Houdini had no real powers, he did display a lot of abilities, skills and attributes which could be considered superhuman. Houdini’s strength and endurance had always been remarked to be far greater than people of his age and build, and his ability to escape from locks and traps bordered on the supernatural. Houdini displayed the following pseudo-powers:

  • High Pain Threshold: Houdini possessed a high pain threshold that allowed him to continue operating as if he was unaffected by situations and damage, similar in scope to Iron Will. Houdini was able to allow himself to be buried alive in a full grave and dug his way out, be subjected to near freezing waters with little damage, hold his breath while restrained for upwards of 3 ½ minutes, and even perform a full show after rupturing his appendix after several punches in his stomach. Houdini’s pain threshold allowed him to roll a FEAT vs. Ex (20) ability to simply ignore the immediate damage effects. Houdini still took the damage, but he was able to ignore its effects.
  • Ultimate Skill: Escape Artist: Houdini is considered by many to be the greatest escape artist that the world has ever seen. Houdini’s mastery of locks was the thing of legend, including being supposedly able to pick every pair of handcuffs in service within current Law Enforcement. Houdini’s ability to escape from both elaborate tricks that he or others had designed still has a degree of unreliability to it. If presented with a situation in which Houdini is handcuffed, restrained, and/or entrapped, Houdini rolls against Amazing (50) rank for such FEATs.
  • Eye for Detail: Houdini’s ability to spot detail was very impressive, allowing him to often use such in disproving mediums and spiritualists. Houdini could substitute his Intuition attribute for a reason check if presented with such situations.
  • Cheating Death: Houdini escaped several real situations (such as two plane crashes) with few injuries, both through his conditioning and ability but also through just plain luck. When Houdini is in situations that would cause him to be faced with a roll vs. Death effects, Houdini can spend Karma after the roll without declaring he would do so ahead of time.
  • The first mega-celebrity: Harry Houdini’s rise to fame as an entertainer had never fully be seen before, and as such, it allowed access to higher levels of society as well as other benefits. As Houdini often toured world-wide, the press and media of the day would follow every move and would report facts of the smallest sort, adding to the size of crowds at Houdini’s events. As a side-effect, Houdini could form temporary karma pools with the attendees at such stunts which Houdini could spend to add to his escapes or make important FEAT rolls.
Contacts:
Harry Houdini had countless contacts in all levels of society and occupations, including famous figures, authors, and world leaders. Houdini maintained a great deal of correspondence to figures both within the magic community, the burgeoning aeronautic community, and the early days of Hollywood to name just a few contacts.

Limitations:
Houdini had several limitations which became more pronounced as he grew in fame:

  • Public Persona: Houdini often fanned the flames of his own popularity, and would go to great lengths to maintain his own presence on the scene. As such, Houdini’s crafted persona makes it difficult to escape from – Houdini once could not leave his home and simply travel across the city without being accosted and recognized as Harry Houdini.
  • Disbeliever: Especially after the death of his beloved mother, Houdini began to despise spiritualism and made it a crusade to disprove spiritualists of the day, taking great steps to discredit such as charlatans and cheats. Houdini would not waiver in his pursuit of frauds, which later evolved into spiritualism as a whole and cost him long-time friendships (like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle).
  • Obsession: Houdini was obsessed in capturing greater and greater tricks, working often up to twenty (20) hours a day to perfect such and guarding such tricks with zeal (and occasionally lawsuits).

300th post - Castiel from 'Supernatural'

”This isn't funny Dean, the voice says I'm almost out of minutes!”

This is Castiel about around the time of his initial appearance, and not the later versions.

F: Mn (75)
A: Ex (20)
S: In (40)
E: Mn (75)
R: Rm (30)
I: Am (50)
P: Mn (75)

Health: 210
Karma: 155
Resources: N/A*
Popularity: 0/50 (Within mystical circles and amid demons, angels, gods, etc)

Talents:
Castiel has existed since the birth of the universe as one of the angels charged in protecting and serving the creator. AS such, Castiel has access to any number of skills that would be normal, with certain exceptions. Castiel has shown expertise in:
Fighting: Brawling, Martial Arts A
Swordsmanship
Mystic Origin*
Advanced Mathematics
Knowledge: Angelic Host
Knowledge: Greater Demons and Devils
Knowledge: Greater Primordial threats
Knowledge: True History of the Universe.

Powers:
Angel of the first order:
Castiel is an angel of the host who seeks to help mankind and serve the will of God in all things. Several of Castiel’s powers are intrinsic to angels within the Supernatural universe, and are considered ‘standard’ abilities. These abilities include:

  • Angelic Perception: Castiel’s perception and senses are superhuman bordering on sublime. Castiel effectively has True Sight* at most times, as well a Microscopic vision, telescopic vision, and in some cases, penetration vision at Ex (20) ability. Castiel can determine a person’s true identity and medical status simply by smelling them, and can track individuals across some distance. Castiels’ attunements allow him to understand and read a person’s mind with Rm (30) ability, perceiving thoughts of normal humans easily as well as lower stationed angels and demons. Castiel is effective part of a greater host, and as such can draw upon that perception as needed to understand and perceive things, limited by his station and the determined need.
  • Angelic Healing and Manipulation: Castiel’s status as an angel allows him to perform many feats, including healing, resurrecting, and even smiting with holy power. Castiel can heal a person up to Mn (75) per round with a touch. Castiel can raise the recently dead with a Psyche FEAT, the severity of the FEAT determined by the length of time the victim has been dead and the amount of damage done to them. Castiel can also ‘possess’ an individual (which he does to work on Earth early on) with Un (100) ability, limited to needing permission of the individual to do so. Castiel can smite enemies and exorcise spirits with an opposed Psyche FEAT by touching them, although higher ranked angels and powerful demons are not affected by such. Castiel can render a normal human of Rm (30) psyche or less to go to sleep simply by touching them, and forces a Psyche FEAT from individuals with In (40) to Am (50) Psyche or force them to go unconscious.
  • Spatial Manipulation: Castiel can manipulate matter, space, and time in unique ways. Castiel can utilize telekinesis to throw and move objects with Rm (30) ability and control. In addition, Castiel can move freely through time and space with Un (100) ability, teleporting near a person in question or even traveling through time on a limited basis. Castiel can teleport individuals by touch, including teleporting individuals away with a simple brush of the hand. Castiel can cause pyrokinetic effects with Rm (30) intensity, and is capable of setting fire to things and objects in the same area he’s in even if he cannot normally see them.
  • Angelic Invulnerability: Like most angels of the host, Castiel is effectively immune to disease, toxins, aging, temperature extremes, poisons, and environmental effects. Castiel is immune to most normal damage types, including weaponry of normal sort, shrugging off bullets, guns, explosives, fire, and sharp weapons with ease. Castiel can be harmed by the weapons and effects of higher ranked angels (like archangels) or demons of great power, as well as supernatural creatures who are considered ‘gods’. Castiel can still be slammed through normal effects, but cannot be stunned through ‘normal’ attacks.
  • Warding and Spells: Castiel is versed in the Enochian symbols and spells and is able to use them effectively to banish angels, ward demons, etc. The spell knowledge seems to be something all angels are versed in, although Castiel was shown to be a little more capable than others.

Contacts:
Castiel has contacts among the host, being considered one of the first and more dedicated. Castiel has strong connections to the Winchester Brothers, specifically Dean, and has some connections throughout his experiences with them.

Limitations:
Despite Castiel’s great powers, he still suffers from many significant drawbacks:
  • Sigils and Wards: Castiel is vulnerable to the wards and sigils designed to keep angels and outsiders at bay, and can be banished and even exorcised from his host. Castiel cannot resist such wards and is immediately held at bay or banished.
  • Holy Flame: Castiel, like most angels, can be held at bay and trapped by holy fire for an undetermined period of time.
  • Angelic Form: Castiel’s true form is beautiful and terrible to behold, rendering normal humans or thoughts with Psyches below Rm (30) deaf and blind (perhaps permanently). Castiel commented that sight of his form could only be perceived by a select few humans.
  • The Host: Castiel is loyal to his host and god, and as such, early on is dedicated to the point of zealousness, a fact known throughout the various supernatural entities encountered.
  • Loyal: Castiel is incredibly loyal to the Winchesters.
  • No common understanding: Although possessed with supernatural perception and knowledge, Castiel has very little understanding of human culture or experience. As such, Castiel is often unable to perceive cultural references or other aspects of humanity (like lying at first).

History

Powers:
The Power of Isis: Through use of an ancient medallion/talisman, Andrea Thomas can transform herself into the super-powered Isis, by saying the words 'Oh Mighty Isis'. Andrea is immediately transformed into her costumed identity, granting her the following powers:
  • Alter Ego: Thomas physically transforms, her stats while not Isis are: F: Pr (4) A: Typ (6) S: Typ (6) E: Gd (10)
  • Elemental Control: Isis can command the traditional elements with Am (50) ability, specifically allowing her to transform elements.
  • Weather Control: Isis can control the weather with Mn (75) ability, quelling hurricanes within seconds and creating blizzards in the middle of a California summer day.

  • Telepathy: Isis could read thoughts with Rm (30) ability, also able to read intentions and perceive the past.
  • Time Control: Isis could freeze or reverse time with In (40) ability and range.
  • Telekinesis: Isis had Am (50) telekinesis

  • Geoforce: Isis had Rm (30) Geoforce
  • Incarnation Awareness: Isis was (in the original Secrets of Isis comic) given the ability to perceive her previous incarnations. Isis's awareness was linked to her psyche, requiring a psyche feat to 'look through time'
  • Invulnerable: Isis is resistant to conventional damage, aging, disease, toxins, and corrosives, but can be harmed by mental, mystical, and emotional attacks. Isis's invulnerability should be rated about Am (50) as she is shown to resist powerful attacks from both villains (in the comics) and environmental situations (Such as ocean depths in the series).
  • Illusion Casting: Isis can create realistic illusions with Rm (30) ability

Contacts:
Rick Mason: Fellow teacher and potential love interest
Dr. Albus Barnes: Supervisor and associate
Cindy Lee: student and associate
Renee Carroll: Student and associate

Limitations:
  • Secret ID: No one knew Andrea Thomas was Isis
  • Alter Ego: When not Isis, Andrea was a normal woman suffering the same vulnerabilities as a normal person
  • Spoken Word: Isis seemed to always need to say incantations to activate her powers. These incantations would be tied directly to her powers.
Code vs. Killing: Isis would never kill

Buffy Summers, the Vampire Slayer

F: Rm (30)
A: In (40)
S: Rm (30)
E: In (40)
R: Typ (6)
I: Ex (20)
P: Rm (30)

Health: 140
Karma: 56
Resources: Typ (6) (Up to the comic series)
Popularity: 0 to most people, 30 in occult circles as the Slayer.

Talents:
Mystic Origin*
- Occult Lore
Martial Arts A, B, E
Acrobatics
Tumbling
Sharp Weapons
Blunt Weapons
Crossbows
Athletics

Powers:

The Slayer: Buffy is one of the more recent incarnations of The Slayer- the defender of mankind against vampires and other threats, chosen throughout the ages as a young woman when the previous slayer was killed. As such, Buffy has the increased FASERIP and the following abilities:
  • Regeneration*: Buffy can recover from wound with Rm (30) ability
  • Recovery: Ex (20) Buffy can recover endurance ranks far faster than a normal human.
  • Iron Will: Buffy can take a beating and keep on Ticking with Rm (30) ability.
  • Vampire Detection: Typ (6) See Above
  • Incarnation Awareness: Each slayer is aware of their previous existence, if not fleeting due to the connection through the first slayer. From dreams to images, the slayers are interconnected (it's part of the reason the slayer-potentials were awoken). I don't assign a rank to this, as it stretches back to the first slayer. It was a major issue of the movie and a pivotal point of both 'Fray' (the Slayer series of the future) and the later seasons.
Contacts:
The Scoobies (Giles, Willow, Xander, Anya, Oz)
The Watcher's Council
Angel
Spike

Limitations:
  • Overconfident: Buffy is extremely overconfident when facing occult opponents. As such, Buffy overestimates her abilities at times and suffers a -1cs to planning or Intuition FEATS during initial encounters with opponents.
  • Secret ID: While the Slayer is well known, not every creature is aware Buffy Summers. Most beings recognize the Slayer on sight, but their identity is usually unknown.
  • Enemy: The First Evil: As the First Evil cannot be killed or destroyed, it is a powerful enemy. It is alluded to being the Devil or simply the First Evil, it can appear as anyone who has died and wherever it wishes to go - there are some suggestions that this is limited.
  • Many Other Enemies: The Slayer has made many enemies, and Buffy herself has added to this ranging from the Master, an elder vampire of extraordinary power to a group of magicians and even secret branches of the US government.
  • Overprotective: Buffy is extraordinarily protective of her friends and especially her younger sister Dawn, and would sacrifice herself for them if she had to.
